Job summary

The Financial Services Representative II at Teachers Federal Credit Union builds and strengthens member relationships and introduces members to online, mobile, and ATM banking, both in person and virtually. You will learn members' personal financial goals and tailor solutions to meet their needs within a service‑driven, sales‑oriented environment.

As part of the role, you’ll process routine and complex transactions, recommend financial solutions, and educate members on digital banking.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's in Business in lieu of experience will be considered.
• Minimum one year branch experience required; Minimum two years of general work experience in customer service or sales.
• Commissioned notary or ability to obtain notary commission within six months of starting in the role.

Responsibilities

• Assist members to understand financial needs and deepen relationships.
• Process routine and complex financial transactions accurately (deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, checks, IRA).
• Provide recommendations and assist members with a wide array of financial solutions.
• Educate members to bank more efficiently via web, mobile, and ATM.
• Participate in off-site membership development events to promote membership.
• Conduct outbound member outreach via phone and email; follow up on recommendations and services.
• Handle escalated member issues as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Summary:

The Financial Services Representative II builds and strengthens member relationships andintroduces members to new, more efficient ways of banking online, the mobile app, and ATMs in person and virtually. The Financial Services Representative will learn members’ personal financial goals and recommend tailored solutions to meet their needs .

Education and/or Experience:

• High School degree or GED required; Bachelor’s in Business in lieu of experience will be considered
• Minimum one year branch experience required
• Minimum two years of general work experience, customer service, call center or sales experience required
• Commissioned notary or can successfully obtain a notary commission in the state where you work within six months of starting in the role required
• Banking products, cross‑selling, member onboarding, new account openings, retail banking, banking software experience preferred

Job Responsibilities:

• Works closely with new and existing members to understand their financial needs and deepen relationships
  
• Processes routine and complex financial transactions for members quickly and accurately (including deposits and withdrawals, loan payments, cashier’s checks, IRA) in compliance with regulations and guidelines
  
• Provides recommendations and assists members with a wide array of financial solutions to satisfy their spending, saving, borrowing, and investing needs
  
• Educate members to bank more efficiently using the web, mobile, and ATM
  
• Participate in off‑site membership development activities such as events and visits to businesses to promote membership
  
• Uncover members’ financial goals and introduce members to internal business specialists to help meet their financial goals
  
• Leverage phone and e‑mail to perform regular member outreach, including outbound sales, follow‑ups on pending recommendations and services, and proactive check‑ins; maximize the effectiveness of these calls through appropriate planning and prioritization
  
• May handle escalated member issues
  
• Perform other duties as needed upon request by immediate supervisor

The good faith range for this position is $24.00 to $27.00 an hour . This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.

All candidates will be subject to a background check, credit check, and drug test to determine employment eligibility.
