Client Services Manager at Randstad Sourceright integrated MSP - A Randstad Enterprise Business

Immediate opening for a Financial Services Representative to receive and respond to incoming customer/broker/agent/government agency inquiries. This position requires the successful candidate to perform both customer service support and processing-related tasks. This is a hybrid position, located in Columbus, Ohio. Local candidates preferred.

Duties include:

  • Communicate with customers, agency/brokerage force, service centers, internal/external sales support, and other industry companies.
  • Review and process routine applications, registrations, contracts, and/or appointments and maintenance requests in accordance with approved standards and practices.
  • Assist in implementing changes in insurance licensing requirements based on laws, regulations, or company policies.
  • Maintain databases and related background information and files for assigned states, operations, and/or distribution channels.
  • Update and distribute licensing/appointment requirements and procedures manuals.
  • Assist internal and external customers with licensing requirements and registration processes, providing materials, and submitting forms and fees to regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws and regulations.
  • Serve as liaison between licensing and customers via phone and email, providing customer service to ensure applications are processed correctly and timely.

Must Haves:

  • High school diploma required; undergraduate studies are desirable.
  • Three years of work experience, with two years in product-related customer service preferred.
  • Knowledge of office practices, customer service, and office equipment.
  • Familiarity with information systems and insurance/financial services industry practices (e.g., annuities, mutual funds) preferred.
  • Basic mathematics skills, familiarity with office filing systems, record keeping, and problem-solving techniques.
  • Ability to prioritize work within standards.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, and management.
  • Decision-making skills for customer interactions.
  • Ability to evaluate problems, analyze customer inquiries, and determine appropriate actions.
