Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a motivated consultant to join our Commercial Financial Services Advisory practice in New York. You will lead and support engagements across banking, insurance, and capital markets, addressing risk, compliance, and business transformation to deliver measurable client value.

You will analyze complex challenges, build client relationships, and run workshops, while managing multi-engagement workstreams, timelines, and risks. Travel up to 75%+ may be required as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Three(3) to Ten(10) Years of experience.
  • Experience in financial services (banking, insurance, capital markets), consulting, advisory services, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex business problems and work effectively in ambiguous environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience managing projects, workstreams, or client deliverables.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prior experience with a management consulting, advisory, or Big Four consulting organization.
  • Experience supporting: Business Transformation Operational Excellence Process Improvement Change Management Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Strategic Initiatives Experience building programs, processes, or operational frameworks from inception through implementation.
  • Subject matter expertise in one or more of the following areas: Operational Optimization Financial Crimes Compliance Regulatory Compliance & Response Risk Management Payments Modernization Asset Management Consumer Banking Commercial Banking Insurance Capital Markets Professional certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Change Management, or related credentials.
Salary

The annual salary range for this position is $107,000.00-$178,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
