Third Coast Bank is seeking a Financial Service Representative to deliver exemplary customer service across daily banking needs in a busy branch. Financial Service Representative (FSR) is responsible for providing exemplary customer service to all bank customers. The FSR answers questions and provides information upon request from bank customers and assists them in understanding and utilizing the bank’s products and services. The FSR opens and services new and existing bank customer accounts, supports the Lobby Manager in leading other employees to meet and exceed an excellent customer experience, maintains and operates a teller cash drawer to process customer transaction requests, and establishes and maintains customer records to adhere to all banking regulations.
The FSR must help assure compliance with all bank policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations.
Maintain current job knowledge of bank products and services.
Practice quality teamwork to ensure the success of the bank as a whole as well as your assigned banking center.
Answer telephones, answer questions and direct callers to proper bank personnel.
Assume responsibility for various department functions in the absence of staff members or in overwhelming situations.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
No travel is expected for this position.
This job operates in a professional office environment. This position uses office equipment such as computers, phones, copy and fax machines, calculators, filing cabinets and printers.
This position will be responsible for writing, typing, speaking, listening, lifting (up to 50 pounds), driving, carrying, seeing (such as close, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and adjusted focus), sitting, pulling, walking, standing, squatting, kneeling and reaching.
The incumbent in this position must be able to accommodate reading documents or instruments, detailed work, problem solving, customer contact, reasoning, math, language, presentations, verbal and written communication, analytical reasoning, stress, multiple concurrent tasks and constant interruptions.
