About The Company: Our client is a global alternative investment firm employing a multi-manager model, allocating capital across a broad array of independent teams with diverse strategies.

Responsibilities

• Review the monthly books and records including financial statements, regulatory filings, net capital requirements, and other ongoing deliverables
• Oversee the financial aspects of a registered Futures Clearing Merchant
• Ensure compliance with net capital requirements of the FCM
• Perform financial analysis for various needs including budgeting and forecasting of business results and respond to inquiries both internally and externally
• Manage and prepare the firm’s annual US GAAP audited financial statement and liaise with external auditors on audit and US GAAP related matters
• Ensure all required month-end reconciliations are performed and reviewed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 10-12 years of related experience
• Experience within financial services required
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements for a Futures Clearing Merchant
• Experience with the rules and requirements for an FCM
• Experience managing and handling regulatory examinations and interacting with regulators
• CPA preferred
• Series 27 or Series 28 preferred
