Responsibilities

Establishes and maintains departmental accounting procedures and recommends revisions to improve efficiency.
Prepares monthly, quarterly and interim financial reports and journal entries.
Ensures accounting procedures conform to GAAP.
Develops and implements process improvements in accounting and financial reporting.
Acts as internal business partner to operations and assists managers with financial information.
Supports periodic reviews, year-end audits and compliance activities.
May perform special projects as requested.
