Job summary

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Finance team in support of its mission to ensure safe and reliable operations across DOE facilities. You will perform financial planning, data analysis, budgeting, and cost control in a collaborative environment, validating performance data and recommending solutions to improve financial operations.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience (Master's with 1 year also acceptable)

Required Combination Of Knowledge And Skill

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or
• Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance is preferred.
• Experience with analyzing financial performance and providing business recommendations.
• Excellent teaming skills including working across business locations.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Pay Range

• $63,900.00 - $97,800.00 annually

Salary information provided is a general guideline only. Annual salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation. Naval Nuclear Laboratory personnel are FMP employees who work at four DOE facilities: Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory, Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory, Kenneth A. Kesselring Site, and Naval Reactors Facility, and at the U.S. Department of Defense-owned Nuclear Power Training Unit-Charleston. FMP employees also have an established presence at numerous shipyards and vendor locations.
