Job summary

RK Partners in Chicago, IL is seeking a Financial Planning Strategist to join a fast-growing team that turns complex data into actionable advice for clients. You will partner with advisors to deliver comprehensive financial plans across cash flow, retirement, investments, tax and estate planning, using eMoney to create tailored strategies for hundreds of clients each year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field. Advanced certifications are a plus.
• CFP® designation (or actively working toward obtaining the CFP designation*). *Must be obtained within 18 months from being hired into the position
• 5+ years’ experience in financial services (minimum of 2 years required) or equivalent experience in a client-facing role involving strategic analysis and proposals.
• Comprehensive knowledge of financial planning, tax strategies, investments, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client financial data with advisors to create tailored planning strategies for new clients.
• Serve as an expert in cash flow, retirement, investments, tax, estate, and risk planning on client cases.
• Review client documents to identify opportunities and build cash flow-based plans using eMoney.
• Manage hundreds of new client cases per year with strong attention to detail and organized workflow.
