Job summary

Prime Capital Financial in Flower Mound, TX, is seeking a Paraplanner to support our financial advisors. You will prepare financial plans, assist with client reviews, manage data entry, onboarding, and act as the SME for our financial planning software.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Financial Planning or related field, pursues CFP within 18 months, and earns Series 65 within 6 months. Proficiency with eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, Riskalyze, Holistiplan, and Google Suite is required;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Financial Planning, Finance, or related field.
• CFP designation required or achieved within 18 months of hire.
• Series 65 license required or achieved within 6 months of hire.
• Experience with Financial Planning Software: eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, Riskalyze, Holistiplan, etc.
• Proficiency with Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist financial advisors as they meet with potential and current clients by setting up financial plans, implementing proposed strategies, and managing ongoing account reviews.
• Prepare financial analyses and financial plans for clients.
• Effectively prioritize workloads and complete tasks within defined guidelines and deadlines.
• Attend prospect and client meetings and take detailed notes.
• Help manage and facilitate the overall Client Experience for onboarding clients with financial planning as an integral component.
• Organize and schedule client review appointments.
• Manage financial planning software, including data entry, client onboarding, client maintenance, report management, and serving as the subject matter expert for the financial planning software used by the firm and financial advisors.
• Remain current on financial planning topics, techniques, law changes, etc.
• Regularly participate in team meetings, including highlighting issues and owning actions through to resolution.
• Proactively enhance individuals’ industry knowledge through external and internal sources.
• Continually seek professional development and growth within the position.
