Northwestern Mutual College Financial Representatives internship provides guidance, connection, and a framework for building an integrated financial planning practice while you pursue your degree.

You’ll gain hands-on experience prospecting, meeting clients, and using proprietary planning tools, with coaching, licensing support, and a pathway to full-time opportunities after graduation. The program is supported by a Fortune 500 company and offers flexible options around class schedules.

Formación

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student, juniors or seniors preferred.
• Interest in sales and financial literacy.
• Active campus involvement (leadership, athletics, student gov, clubs).
• Strong time-management skills.
• Willingness to learn and network to build a client base.

Responsabilidades

• Learn prospecting and networking to build your business and client base.
• Develop and execute on a business strategy.
• Call on potential clients and set meetings to understand their financial goals.
• Prepare plans and offer useful recommendations.
• Gain exposure to proprietary planning software platforms.
• Engage in weekly coaching, training, and development meetings.
• Receive Risk Product State Licensing: Life, Accident, and Health.
