Job summary

Stifel Financial is seeking a Financial Planning Associate to partner with Financial Advisors in gathering data and preparing simple to moderate financial plans for clients and prospects. The role may support branch offices in using MoneyGuidePro, Stifel’s online planning platform.

You will contribute to plan development, explain plans to advisors, and assist with information gathering while leveraging knowledge of the Wealth Planning questionnaire and best practices.

Qualifications

• Business degree or equivalent experience in related field.
• 1+ years of securities industry or related experience.
• Understanding of financial planning concepts and products.
• Strong mathematical abilities.
• Ability to communicate professionally with advisors and staff.

Responsibilities

• Gather data with Financial Advisors to prepare financial plans.
• Create plans using MoneyGuidePro from basic to moderate complexity.
• Assist branches in MoneyGuidePro usage and best practices.
• Explain completed plans to Financial Advisors.
• Provide data gathering support and questionnaire knowledge.
• Back up logging and filing of financial plans.
• Prepare spreadsheets and presentations as needed.
• Respond to calls from Financial Advisors and Sales Assistants.
• Meet plan preparation deadlines.
• Support branches with plan-related tasks.
