Ameriprise Financial is seeking a detailed and motivated Financial Planning Assistant to join a fast-paced advisory practice in Melville, NY. You will gather client information, support preliminary financial plans, and develop meeting materials to assist advisors in delivering personalized client experiences.

The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and ethical standards while supporting ongoing planning and practice management activities to help advisors meet client goals.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Gather, organize, and review client financial information for completeness and accuracy.
• Assist financial advisors with the preparation of preliminary financial plans and planning recommendations.
• Prepare charts, graphs, tables, reports, and other materials for client review and implementation meetings.
• Assist with developing preliminary portfolio and product recommendations aligned with each client’s goals, time horizon, and risk tolerance.
• Update client information and financial planning materials in preparation for periodic review meetings.
• Track outstanding planning items, documents, and follow-up activities.
• Participate in client meetings when appropriate and assist with documenting next steps.
• Complete financial planning projects and research assignments at the direction of the financial advisor.
