Summit Wealth Group in Colorado Springs or Lakewood (Denver Metro) is seeking a Financial Planning Assistant to support our client-centric planning team with research, strategy creation, and plan administration.

The role requires 1 year of financial planning experience and 1 year with planning software, with a preferred Bachelor's in finance-related field. CFP candidacy encouraged. Full-time, 40 hrs/week, pay $28.85–$33.66/hr DOE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or related field preferred.
• CFP certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of employment encouraged.
• FINRA Series 6/65/66 licenses advantageous but not required.
• 1 year experience with financial planning software required.
• 1 year experience in financial planning required.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial research and analysis to support plans.
• Create customized financial strategies and recommendations.
• Provide financial plan support and administration.
• Maintain clear client and advisor communication.
• Input data accurately for planning workflows.
• Provide general administrative support to the team.
