Job summary

LS Corp. is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to lead planning, forecasting, and analysis, delivering insights to drive strategic decisions.

You will partner with regional FP&A teams, build dynamic models, analyze performance against budget, and prepare executive-facing reports and presentations.

The role covers market analysis in EV, energy, and industrial sectors, copper pricing, and evaluation of CapEx and potential M&A opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
• Master's degree (MBA or related discipline) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a global FP&A environment.
• Experience supporting a manufacturing organization required.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis tools and systems.
• Technical expertise in U.S. GAAP and IFRS reporting standards.
• Proven ability to develop complex financial models and summarize large data sets into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Plan and forecast; support annual budget, forecasts, and long-range plans.
• Coordinate with regional FP&A teams to align KPIs and reporting.
• Analyze monthly performance vs budget, forecast, and KPIs; identify variance drivers.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Prepare financial reporting and executive presentations.
• Market analysis of EV/automotive, energy, and industrial sectors; translate trends to impact.
• Prepare quarterly copper pricing reports and analyze market trends.
• Investment & strategic analysis; review CapEx with DCF/NPV/IRR and payback.
• Develop dynamic financial models and scenario analyses; evaluate new projects and cost-saving opportunities.
• Support M&A activities with financial modeling, due diligence, valuation, QOE, and integration planning.

  • Analyze monthly business and financial performance against budget, forecast, and KPIs, identifying key variance drivers and trends.
  
  
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership, including corrective actions where necessary.
  
  
  • Prepare financial reporting and presentations for executive leadership and key stakeholders.
  
  
  • Market Analysis
  
  
  • Monitor and analyze key end markets, including EV/automotive, energy and grid infrastructure, and industrial applications, and translate demand trends into their impact on volume, product mix, revenue, and margin.
  
  
  • Prepare quarterly copper pricing reports, analyzing market trends and their impact on business performance.

  • Review and challenge CapEx proposals using DCF, NPV/IRR, and payback analysis to assess investment justification and alignment with business strategy.
  
  
  • Develop dynamic financial models and scenario analyses, partnering with cross-functional teams to evaluate new projects, strategic initiatives, and cost-saving opportunities.
  
  
  • Support M&A activities in partnership with corporate development and executive leadership through financial modeling, due diligence, valuation, Quality of Earnings review, and post-transaction integration planning.
  
  
  
  

Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
