Job summary

Harvey Nash Group in Matawan, NJ seeks a qualified FP&A Analyst to join our finance team onsite. You will prepare and distribute financial data, publish tracking reports, and perform variance analysis against budget and prior year.

You will work with department heads weekly and monthly to provide insights into key financial details driving the business. A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 3–4 years of experience is expected, with SAP/ERP knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 - 4 years of auditing and financial analysis experience with a complex multi-department general ledger
• Experience with Excel, Word, Power Point; knowledge of SAP or other ERP preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of profit & loss statement and balance sheet
• Well-organized and detail-oriented
• Excellent decision-making skills to provide recommendations
• Highly accurate and analytical
• Must be a team player
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and high-volume environment

• Prepares and distributes financial data related to key company volume trends.
• Maintains and publishes Merchandising Sales and Income Tracking Reports.
• Performs end of period income statement variance analysis to budget and prior year.
• Works with department heads on a weekly/monthly basis to understand and provide insight to key financial details which drive the business.

Qualifications:

• Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or a related field

Minimum of 3 - 4 years of auditing and financial analysis experience with a complex multi-department general ledger

• Intimate knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point; knowledge of SAP (or other ERP package) preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the $55k/Annum to $60k/Annum with Benefits for this position.
