Lexitas is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our growing FP&A team. The role analyzes financial data, builds models, and supports strategic decision-making, reporting to the VP of FP&A.

The ideal candidate combines strong accounting principles knowledge with advanced modeling skills, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate across functions including operations, sales, marketing and IT.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA or CMA/CPA a plus.
  • 5-7 years’ experience in quantitative/analytical field; Oracle Planning and Budgeting experience.
  • Experience with programming languages (any) preferred.
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Monitor and analyze costs; identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs for divisions; track performance with Global Shared Services.
  • Assess profitability of client engagements, CAC, services and initiatives.
  • Build financial models to support investment analysis, pricing strategies and scenario planning.
  • Generate ad-hoc reports to support business initiatives; collaborate with cross-functional teams.

SUMMARY:

Lexitas is seeking a detail-oriented, highly analytical Finance Manager to join our growing FP&A team. The position will play a crucial role in analyzing financial data, providing insights, and supporting strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a natural curiosity, strong financial modeling skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and excellent communication abilities. This role will report to the VP of FP&A, and function as an individual

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Conduct comprehensive financial analysis for the assigned operating division(s), including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Cost Management: Monitor and analyze costs associated with division operations, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for the assigned operating division(s), tracking financial performance against targets in conjunction with Global Shared Services.
  • Profitability Analysis: Assess the profitability of client engagements, customer acquisition cost, services, and initiatives, and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance financial outcomes.
  • Data Interpretation: Interpret complex financial data related to operational activities and present findings to senior management in a clear and concise manner.
  • Financial Modeling: Build financial models to support decision-making processes, including investment analysis, pricing strategies, and scenario planning.
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting: Generate ad-hoc reports as needed, providing timely and accurate financial information to support various business initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, marketing and IT, to understand business dynamics and contribute to overall financial success.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the finance function and actively contribute to enhancing overall efficiency.
COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Proven experience as a Finance Professional, preference to individuals coming from high transaction volume industries.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Excellent proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.
  • Knowledge of legal support services industry dynamics, market trends, and regulatory requirements preferred.
  • Prior experience working with offshore and near-shore resources preferred.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is a plus.
  • 5-7 years’ experience in a quantitative / analytical field is required. Experience with Oracle Planning and Budgeting.
  • Experience with programming languages (any), strongly preferred.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, Etc.), strongly preferred.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role is not a supervisor position.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers whose first language is English.
