Job summary

MSIG USA is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst Intern to support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and data analysis in Warren, NJ. The role involves working with financial models, analyzing KPIs, and assisting strategic decisions.

You will gain exposure to large datasets, cross-functional collaboration, and prepare insights for senior management during a 10-week program running June–August 2027. Hybrid schedule with in-office presence required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling) and PowerPoint.
• Willing to learn financial statements and key financial metrics. Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting by gathering financial data and updating financial models.
• Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including variance analysis of actual vs. forecasted results.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for business growth.
• Work with large datasets to generate insights and support business decisions. Prepare presentations and reports for senior management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial and operational data.
• Assist in ad-hoc projects, such as cost analysis, revenue projections, and process improvement initiatives.

• 3 Day Induction: June 7 - June 9, 2027 (location, Warren, NJ)


• Hybrid Schedule: Minimum 4 days in the office per week


• Compensation: Hourly rate of $25.00
