Financial Planning & Analysis Associate role supporting Risk Management and Compliance in driving planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytics for executive stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own financial performance and forecast updates for direct and indirect expenses for Risk, including expense and headcount variance explanations
- Conduct trend analysis and provide monthly forecast updates for Risk expense and headcount
- Support annual financial planning, including run rate analysis, expense savings opportunities, and allocation methodology
- Handle monthly financial close activities, including management reporting adjustments, forecast/outlook updates, and General Ledger review and investigations
- Partner with business leads to understand risks and opportunities, future impacts, and key trends, and translate findings into actionable conclusions
- Build, automate, and maintain scalable reporting solutions and data workflows using SQL, Python, Alteryx, Databricks, Tableau, and Anaplan XL
- Increase efficiency through standardization, controls, documentation, and simplification of recurring deliverables
- Develop and maintain dashboards, including headcount dashboards and non-compensation expense dashboards, with consistent definitions and metrics
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of related experience
- Advanced analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with strategic mindset and continuous improvement focus
- Ability to produce clear, executive-ready deliverables with strong data storytelling
- Effective communication and confidence working with senior stakeholders and finance partners
- High attention to detail, sound judgment, and appropriate handling of confidential information
- Self-motivated and able to manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines in a demanding environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Familiarity with Hyperion/Essbase and SAP
- Experience with Alteryx for workflow automation and Tableau for dashboard development and maintenance

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Prior P&A experience is a plus
- Experience with Essbase/Anaplan/Anaplan XL, including reporting outputs, model interaction, and planning/reporting workflows
- Knowledge of Atoti is a plus
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL is a plus, including querying, data validation, reconciliation, and performance-aware design

Compensation: USD 85,500 - 115,000 per year
