Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking a Finance Expert to evaluate AI-built financial analyses on real corporate scenarios, verify valuation assumptions, and articulate defensible judgments for models used by AI. You’ll stress-test three-statement models, trace numbers, and write clear analyses for CFO-facing decisions.

Remote, flexible projects across the United States, with compensation up to $40–$125+/hour depending on task difficulty and specialization.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or strategic finance.
• Fluency with modeling: three-statement builds, DCF, and the accounting behind them.
• Clear written English: your explanations are the training signal.
• No degree required. We care about what you can do, not where you learned it.

Job description

Models can build a three-statement model that looks clean and still get the mechanics wrong: a balance sheet that doesn't balance, working capital that flows the wrong way, a circular reference silently zeroed out. Someone has to trace the numbers back through the logic, and that someone is you.

As a Finance Expert you'll evaluate AI-built financial analyses on real corporate scenarios, check the valuation assumptions and the accounting behind them, and write the judgments that teach models what defensible finance work looks like.
