An established and award-winning financial planning firm is looking for a Financial Planner to join their growing team, covering clients across Wiltshire and Oxfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified adviser with some advisory experience who is ready to develop their career in a collaborative, client-first environment.

The business has a strong reputation for both client outcomes and workplace culture, and offers a supportive structure where new business is generated for you — giving you the time and space to focus on meaningful client relationships and high-quality advice.

Role

You will work as part of a close-knit team, advising clients on their financial planning needs across pensions, investments, and protection. A dedicated Business Development function books qualified prospect meetings directly into your diary, so you can focus on building trusted client relationships and delivering the right advice.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Holding clear, jargon-free financial planning conversations with clients
  • Advising on clients' goals, needs and priorities across pensions, investments and protection
  • Working collaboratively within a team to deliver joined-up client service
  • Building and converting pipeline opportunities introduced by the Business Development Team
  • Supporting existing clients while contributing to responsible business growth
  • Continuing your professional development with the support of experienced colleagues
Qualifications
  • CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (minimum requirement)
  • CAS status
  • Around 1–2 years' experience in an advisory role
  • Commercially driven and comfortable with both client servicing and new business development
  • Communicates clearly and confidently, keeping conversations personal and jargon-free
  • Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel to offices and client homes
  • Ambitious, coachable and open to feedback
  • Takes pride in doing things properly and delivering excellent client outcomes
What’s on offer
  • Salary of £50,000–£60,000 per annum
  • 33 days' holiday, increasing by up to 5 additional days based on length of service
  • Six times salary life cover
  • Flexible/dynamic working, with home working available once settled
  • Paid study leave, exam mentors and study materials for relevant professional qualifications
