Financial Operations Officer (FOO)

The Financial Operations Officer for the department of Research reports to the School of Medicine's Chief Financial & Administrative Officer (CFAO), Associate Dean, Biomedical Sciences, and Associate Dean, Clinical Research.

Position Overview

The role is to turn data into information – accessing, analyzing, and presenting operational, financial, clinical, and industry data to guide decision-making for the School of Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide data analysis and reporting for the Research department including Biomedical Sciences, Clinical Sciences, and the Center for Health Disparities Research.
• Conduct complex financial forecasting and analytics.
• Offer consultative financial support to Research leadership by advising on financial problems and recommending budgetary solutions.
• Assist in developing and maintaining the operating budget.

Qualifications

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. The position does not sponsor or assume sponsorship of employment visas.

Compensation

Salary range: $90,400 – $169,000 annually; expected pay scale up to $129,700.

Employment Details

Schedule: 8AM – 5PM, Full-time (100%).
