Job summary

Year Up United offers a one-year or shorter intensive job training program that helps young adults develop in-classroom skills, access internships, and receive coaching and mentorship across four career pathways. Participants also receive an educational stipend during the internship phase.

In the Business pathway, training blends Financial Operations with internship placement support through YUPRO Placement, with an internship at BNY Mellon in Pittsburgh.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED recipient.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Available Monday–Friday throughout the duration of the program.
• Motivated to learn technical and professional skills.
• Have not obtained a Bachelor's degree.
• May be required to answer additional screening questions when applying.

Responsibilities

• Gain customer communications and professional networking skills.
• Participate in team-based project coordination and finance training.
• Receive ongoing coaching and internship placement support through YUPRO.

Year Up United participants also receive an educational stipend.If youre someone whos passionate about building relationships, is interested in organizational processes and is excited to use data to achieve business outcomes, the Business job training pathway could be the right fit for you. The Business pathway combines technical and professional training in Financial Operations with access to internships and job placement support through our industry-leading talent placement firm YUPRO Placement. Your internship will be at BNY Mellon in Pittsburgh.
