Sunset Transportation is offering a 10-week Financial Operations Internship in Saint Louis, MO. You’ll join our accounting team, work 40 hours per week, and gain hands-on experience across billing, accounts payable, cash applications, and LTL processes.

You’ll post cash receipts, assist with LTL billing and EDI processing, respond to payment inquiries, generate invoices, code payables, and help clean backlogs while learning from industry leaders in a collaborative, growth‑oriented culture.

Responsibilities

• Post cash receipts accurately and timely to support billing flow
• Assist with LTL billing and EDI order processing to reduce delays
• Respond to carrier payment status inquiries via email and phone
• Generate and deliver customer invoices
• Enter and code payables; match and verify carrier settlements
• Support backlog cleanup and jump in where needed across the team
