SECU in Raleigh seeks an experienced quantitative analyst to support capital planning, stress testing, and CECL efforts by developing, monitoring, and backtesting models. The role informs executive decisions on scenario design and balance-sheet trends.
The candidate should have a four-year quantitative degree and 2+ years in financial services risk/finance, with proficiency in R, Python, or SAS, and strong communication to senior management. Hybrid work arrangement is offered.

This position will support the development, monitoring, and testing of quantitative models to support SECU’s Capital Planning, Stress Testing, and CECL efforts. This position supports executive decision making with regard to scenario analysis, risk appetite, and loan-loss allowance. This position informs management of trends within the economy and SECU’s balance sheet.
