Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Financial Management Palantir Management Data Analyst to lead teams in designing and enhancing solutions on the Palantir Foundry platform for DoW financial management. You will act as the primary client contact, guide strategic decisions, and mentor project staff.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, active Secret clearance, and the ability to commute to client sites or Guidehouse offices. Strong data processing and governance skills are essential.

What You Will Do

As a Financial Management (FM) Palantir Management Data Analyst within Guidehouse’s Defense and Security Financial Management Practice, you will lead teams support Department of War clients in designing, developing, and enhancing modern solutions in the Vantage platform, leveraging Palantir Found that strengthen financial management operations, improve financial reporting and data transparency, and enable data-driven decision-making across enterprise financial management transformation initiatives. You will serve as the primary point of contact for client leadership, providing strategic guidance and maintaining strong client relationships. Additionally, you will supervise and mentor project team members and foster collaboration, accountability, and professional development across the program.

What You Will Need

• Active and maintained Secret Federal or DoW security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of FIVE (5) years of professional experience
• Selected candidate must be able to commute to the client site or Guidehouse offices.
• Experience with Palantir Foundry, including Workshop.
• Experience in Python, SQL, PySpark, and Spark-based data processing.
• Experience building or supporting data solutions using Palantir Foundry, including pipelines, transforms, datasets, and data lineage.
• Experience working with relational and analytical data stores (e.g., Databricks, Oracle, Postgres, SQL Server) and applying sound data modeling principles.
• Experience handling federal financial data, including budget, execution, and accounting data, with an understanding of data controls and reconciliation needs.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence senior stakeholders.

What Would Be Nice To Have

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Direct experience supporting DoW financial, PPBE, comptroller/CFO, or audit-related programs.
• Experience supporting or integrating Palantir with DoD Advana Understanding and experience with Federal financial systems (e.g., GFEBS, Navy ERP, DAI, DEAMS) and Federal financial management and accounting concepts, data structures, and policy (e.g., Treasury Financial Manual, OMB Circular A-123, SFFAS, USSGL).
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with Git-based version control, CI/CD concepts, and Agile delivery methodologies in secure environments.
• Prior experience working directly within the Advana/Vantage ecosystems or adjacent DoD enterprise analytics platforms.
• Certifications (Palantir, AWS, Azure, Databricks).
• Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, lineage, and access controls in classified or controlled unclassified environments.
• Understanding of DoW data, security, and compliance frameworks (e.g., RMF, ATO processes).
• Previous consulting experience supporting federal or defense clients.
