Job summary

PwC is seeking a Deals - Financial Due Diligence Intern to contribute to financial diligence projects across the deal lifecycle within Advisory. You will support teams by performing tasks, researching, and learning PwC's practices in a hands-on environment.

You will engage in financial statement analysis, build models, assess earnings quality, and help prepare client-ready reports and presentations while observing seasoned professionals.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree.
• Client service interns typically join us during the winter/spring or summer prior to their intended graduation year.

Responsibilities

• Supporting teams in conducting financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions
• Participating in the analysis of financial statements to assess the financial health of potential investments
• Assisting in the preparation of financial models to evaluate business valuations and investment opportunities
• Engaging in the review of business performance metrics to provide insights for strategic decision-making
• Contributing to the development of financial forecasts to aid in corporate finance planning
• Collaborating with team members to analyze earnings quality and working capital requirements
• Observing and learning from experienced professionals in the field of financial due diligence
• Applying financial statement analysis techniques to identify potential risks and opportunities in transactions
• Assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations for client engagements
• Gaining exposure to PwC's methodologies and practices in the advisory sector
