Job description

the client is seeking a transformational Finance Leader to collaborate with senior management on defining business strategies and driving finance transformation. In this role, you will provide direction for finance and accounting professionals supporting the achievement of established deliverables, and you will oversee financial systems, ensuring effective operations and continuous improvement through implementations and upgrades. You will also promote budgetary control to help meet organizational objectives.

You will determine finance KPIs and help shape financial reporting to support decision-making, including recommending corrective actions when needed. Responsibilities include oversight of general accounting and taxation activities, preparation of annual accounts, analysis of market trends to anticipate business challenges, and development of solutions. You will lead mid- and long-term forecasting, define projections to provide a forward-looking view, and support planning by translating strategy into measurable financial targets.

The successful candidate will have a university degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related field, with an MBA or financial certifications as a plus. Strong English and Spanish proficiency is expected. The role typically requires extensive experience at the level of Financial Director or a similar senior capacity within a global FMCG environment, with knowledge of accounting, consolidation, and reporting, as well as experience managing and developing multicultural teams; manufacturing and consumer-goods exposure may be preferred. The position calls for exceptional leadership, organizational, analytical, and stakeholder influence skills, strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to lead change and continuous improvement.
