Qualifications

  • Advanced Excel with complex functions, pivot tables, VBA/macros.
  • Proven data visualization design using Power BI/Tableau.

Job description

Based in Lawrenceville, Georgia, this onsite role at WIKA USA centers on delivering timely and accurate reporting across Finance, Sales, and Operations to support strategic decision-making. The Financial Data Analyst serves as the lead business data analyst for the Americas, guiding data governance, standardizing reporting, and driving digital transformation to boost financial performance and operational efficiency. The position offers a salary of USD 80,000 per year and requires on-site presence.

Responsibilities
  • Translate corporate data and tool standards into practical guidance for local business areas to ensure consistent and accurate data usage.
  • Design and maintain standardized processes for analytics, reporting, and data quality management.
  • Monitor master data quality and collaborate with business owners to align with corporate standards and local requirements.
  • Ensure data is consistent, accurate, and trusted across systems so reporting remains dependable and operational issues are minimized.
  • Partner with US Controlling and business leaders to define analytical requirements, create ad-hoc reports, and dashboards to support KPI measurement.
  • Leverage relevant data sources and perform advanced analytical modeling using large datasets to support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead productivity initiatives to automate manual data processes, including customizing global Power BI reports to meet local needs and collaborating with IT to migrate external reports to ERP workspaces.
  • Translate complex data into clear insights that influence forecasting, planning, cost management, and operational improvement.
  • Collaborate with Americas IT and Global Digital Performance to assess the current landscape, enhance AI capabilities, and support financial data transitions during ERP upgrades.
  • Develop AI Agents (Copilot) to streamline and automate local business processes.
  • Advance digital capabilities that reduce manual effort, improve data accuracy, and modernize reporting tools across the business.
  • Provide oversight, training, and first level support for business users of Power BI, Excel (including advanced functions and macros), and other analytical tools.
  • Collaborate across Finance, Sales, Operations, and IT to ensure alignment on analytics and reporting solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a focus in Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or closely related analytical field.
  • Minimum three to five years of progressively responsible experience in data analytics, financial reporting, or business intelligence.
  • Strong advanced analytical capability with a proactive mindset, including hands-on experience with process automation analytics and robotic process automation (RPA).
  • Advanced Excel skills, including complex functions, pivot tables, Power Query, VBA, and Macros.
  • Proven experience designing and maintaining data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI, including data modeling, Power Query, and DAX.
  • Practical experience building, deploying, and sustaining AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot Agents (preferred).
  • Experience in data governance, data quality management, and establishing and enforcing standard KPI definitions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
  • Ability to manage complex datasets and systems while supporting leaders with high-impact analytics that shape key business decisions.
