Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Financial Controller within the Corporate & Investment Bank to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the firm's general ledger, balance sheet, and financial reporting for the Securitized Products Group.

You will own key control functions, including balance sheet reconciliation, GLRS reporting, intercompany eliminations, and month-end close, while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of accounting/finance experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Foundational knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting in a corporate environment.
• Understand financial instruments, general ledger management, and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Effective communication across cross-functional teams.
• Meticulous attention to detail with a controls-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support financial control for the Securitized Products Group within CIB.
• Collaborate with line of business controllers, middle office, tech, and operations.
• Understand end-to-end trading flow and apply accounting policies to strengthen controls.
• Ensure integrity of income statement and balance sheet at close periods.
• Contribute to preparation of primary financial statements for earnings and SEC filings.
• Identify process improvements and drive control enhancements.
• Oversee intercompany eliminations and consolidation adjustments.
• Prepare quarter-end close entries and post-closing adjustments.
• Manage control procedures for accurate financial results.
