Job summary

FINITETEK INC. seeks a Controller to oversee accounting and financial operations with a focus on construction-industry accounting, job costing, cash flow, and financial reporting.

The role partners with the President/CEO, managers, and operations to ensure accurate financial information and robust controls. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in accounting, 5+ years in progressive accounting (construction experience preferred), expertise in job costing, WIP, percentage-of-completion, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; construction-industry experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with job costing, WIP accounting, percentage-of-completion accounting, and construction billing.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and cash-flow management.
• Experience with construction accounting software/ERP systems.
• Trimble Spectrum experience is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• CPA or construction accounting experience is a plus.
• Internal controls and accounting compliance
• Experience with an ESOP business structure is a plus.

This position works closely with the President/CEO, managers, and operations team to ensure accurate financial information and strong financial controls.
