A growing manufacturing company in Idaho is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to oversee accounting functions and guide financial strategy. This role requires a strong background in cost accounting and operational finance, with at least 8-10 years of experience, particularly in a manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will manage a small finance team and contribute to a lean and efficient environment, supporting organizational success.
We are seeking a hands-on Financial Controller who will oversee the accounting functions and be responsible for the overall day-to-day activities of the finance department.
You will work closely with the CFO and management team, bringing strong cost accounting and operational finance experience to help guide the company’s financial strategy while remaining actively involved in the day-to-day financial functions. This is not a high-level, strategic-only role — we’re looking for a doer, someone who is just as comfortable in the details as they are in leadership conversations.
The role includes managing a small team of direct reports (Accounting Manager and Staff Accountant). The ideal candidate will bring extensive accounting experience withinmanufacturing, including exposure toERP systems, cost accounting, treasury functions, payables and receivables, and inventory.
