Edelman Smithfield’s Analyst Program offers a 15-month, full-time track to build the next generation of financial communications leaders. Analysts work with global companies to develop media relations, research and writing skills while learning deal work, investor relations, and digital finance communications.

The program has opportunities in New York, Washington DC, Chicago, and San Francisco, with a flexible hybrid schedule requiring at least three in-office days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or expected for program eligibility.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical ability to synthesize financial disclosures and data.
• Interest in financial communications and related fields.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and editing materials including press releases, investor presentations, Q&A and other materials.
• Conducting in-depth research and benchmarking of financial metrics and company disclosures.
• Support client media relations and monitor news and filings daily.
• Collaborate with teams to prepare pitches and proposals.
