Financial Center Relationship Specialist
Full‑time (approximately 40 hours per week) based at our Womelsdorf financial center in Womelsdorf, PA, Berks County. Must be available during branch operation hours (no Sundays).
Job Overview
Incumbents serve as versatile banking professionals, delivering a wide range of banking services to individual customers and small‑business clients. They act as dedicated points of contact for small‑business clients, providing tailored financial solutions and exceptional service to support the client’s growth and success. They also contribute to the overall performance of the Financial Center by delivering an unparalleled customer experience to all customers, focusing on a seamless one‑stop experience for all financial needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of small business customers, serving as their primary point of contact for all banking needs; build strong relationships and understand their business objectives through needs‑based conversations; provide tailored recommendations for banking products and services that support their growth strategy.
- Identify opportunities to deepen relationships (cross‑sell) and expand the bank’s small business client base through prospecting, networking, and leveraging leads and referrals.
- Drive proactive sales conversations through various channels, both internal and outbound; engage in outbound campaign calls, handle inbound contact center inquiries, participate in Fulton Bank’s Distributed Work model, schedule appointments, and actively engage customers in the lobby; use digital tools to demonstrate digital solutions to customers.
- Utilize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to promote a variety of banking solutions; maintain proficiency in deposit accounts, consumer and small business lending opportunities, credit cards, investment options, and digital solutions; provide customers a one‑stop experience by focusing on customer‑centric conversations.
- Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and Fulton policies and procedures, while demonstrating sound judgment within established limits.
- Adapt to varying demands based on Financial Center traffic and customer needs; allocate time across proactive sales conversations, Distributed Work Model activities, and transaction processing, all while delivering customer satisfaction with every interaction.
- Provide transactional support for customers on an as‑needed basis.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- Associate Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Business or a related field (preferred).
Experience
- 3 or more years of demonstrated sales experience (required).
- 3 or more years of customer service experience (required).
- 2 or more years of prior banking experience, preferably including small business (preferred).
Certifications
- Notary Public (potential).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Pro‑active and result‑oriented (drive for more) (required).
- Highly collaborative with partners, manager, and Financial Center teams (required).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to have needs‑based conversations (required).
- Desire to serve as a sales/service expert for Small Business clients in the Financial Center (required).
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly rate: $22.16 - $36.92.
- Eligible to participate in a short‑term incentive compensation plan subject to individual and company performance.
