The position emphasizes consultative sales, customer relationship growth, and cross-selling within Financial Centers or Bank Marts. The program includes a certification upon completion and requires adherence to risk and compliance standards, with travel for training as needed.

Qualifications

• College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop comfort level with sales activities to acquire customers.
• Must be able to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for credit analysis.
• Ability to professionally represent Fifth Third Bank in appearance and communication.
• Knowledge of Retail policies and procedures to exercise sound judgment.
• S.A.F.E. Act registration required at time of employment (NMLS).

Responsibilities

• Use the consultative sales process to build a customer profile and identify financial needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Retail products/services and recommend solutions.
• Proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for reviews.
• Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities.
• Refer customers to Business Partners for holistic financial solutions.
• Meet/exceed customer experience and production goals.
• Guide CSRs on sales and referral processes.
• Promote customer satisfaction with a professional demeanor.
• Protect customer confidentiality and follow policies.
