Job summary

Ambrose is seeking a Financial & Capital Markets Analyst to support acquisitions, development, fund management, and capital markets activities. The role combines modeling, underwriting, analytics, debt/equity execution support, and investor reporting.

You'll build models, dashboards, and reports, track debt/equity across funds, and assist with investor materials and data rooms across multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in real estate investment, development, acquisitions, banking, or private equity.
• Strong Excel financial modeling skills and understanding of commercial real estate.
• Familiarity with Argus, Juniper Square, DealPath, Maybern, and similar platforms preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain detailed financial models for development and acquisition opportunities.
• Perform sensitivity analyses and scenario planning to support investment decisions.
• Underwrite land acquisitions, speculative developments, build-to-suit projects, and acquisitions.
• Support disposition underwriting and project capitalization strategies.
• Build dashboards and reporting tools to support portfolio analysis.
• Build debt packages and track debt and equity transactions across funds and JV structures.
• Support capital raising, fund forecasting, and capital planning efforts.
• Prepare Investment Committee memorandums, deal summaries, and investor presentations.
• Maintain underwriting templates and reporting standards and assist with data room management.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Financial & Capital Markets Analyst will support Ambrose’s acquisitions, development, fund management, and capital markets functions. The role combines financial modeling, underwriting, portfolio analytics, debt and equity execution support, and investor reporting. The Analyst will work across departments to provide data-driven insights that support investment decisions and capital formation.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Financial Modeling & Underwriting

• Create, update, and maintain detailed financial models for development and acquisition opportunities.
• Perform sensitivity analyses and scenario planning to support investment decisions.
• Underwrite land acquisitions, speculative developments, build-to-suit projects, and acquisitions.
• Support disposition underwriting and project capitalization strategies.
• Build dashboards and reporting tools to support portfolio analysis.

Capital Markets & Fund Analytics

• Build debt packages summarizing financing opportunities and lender comparisons.
• Track debt and equity transactions across funds and joint ventures.
• Support capital raising initiatives, fund forecasting, and capital planning efforts.
• Aggregate and analyze property-, portfolio-, and fund-level performance.
• Maintain fund models, forecasting tools, and performance reporting.

Investment Committee & Reporting

• Prepare Investment Committee memorandums, deal summaries, and investment presentations.
• Support quarterly and annual investor reporting packages.
• Maintain underwriting templates and reporting standards.
• Assist with DDQs, investor requests, and data room management.
• Manage CRM systems and support investor onboarding activities.

Requirements
