Job summary

Premier Group Services, Inc. is hiring a full- or part-time Financial Audit Helper in Hyattsville, MD. This job pays $17.00 to $22.50 per hour. You can work in the office, onsite, fully remote, or a mix of both.

We offer a friendly place to learn about accounting and auditing. You can work full-time or part-time, as a contractor or 1099, with possible travel to client sites. Must be pursuing or have completed a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, coursework in auditing, internship

Responsibilities

• Assist with simple to medium audit and accounting tasks and document findings clearly.
• Collaborate with clients and coworkers to help the audit team finish its work; some travel to client sites may be required.

THE TYPE OF CANDIDATE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (rising junior/senior standing or recent graduate)
• Coursework in auditing or accounting principles
• Prior internship experience in auditing, accounting, or a similar field (preferred)
• Excellent computer skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (preferred)

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS A FINANCIAL AUDIT HELPER

In this full- or part-time role, you will help with simple to medium tasks in audit and accounting projects. You will learn how to keep your work organized and write down what you find in a clear way. You will make helpful suggestions for clients and the audit file. You will talk with both clients and coworkers to help the team finish its work. Some days, you may go to client offices. Every day, you will learn by helping with real audit work in a busy setting.
