Rolls-Royce is seeking a Financial Analyst – US Engineering in Indianapolis, IN. The role supports the Engineering Finance team, coordinating labor reporting, program charges, and business reporting packs.

The position requires an Associate’s or higher in Business/Finance with 2+ years of related experience, US citizen or permanent resident status, and preferred FP&A and SAP experience. Hybrid work with relocation not offered.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with developing budgets and ad hoc projects to support the business in finance and/or cross-functional business process improvement teams
• Processing all project set up and maintenance requests both accurately and timely
• Reconciling and resolving issues related to electronic work booking, time ticket rejects and SAP projects
• Ensuring compliance to labor reporting processes
• Organizing and analyzing large amounts of engineering labor data
• Creating data file for Research & Development (R&D) tax credit and coordinate vetting of data including interviews with engineers
• Preparing journal entries related to time keeping adjustments
• Assisting with month-end reporting
• Preparing weekly and monthly labor and operational cost reporting
• Preparing month end supply chain accruals
• Maintaining the duty to report tracker
• Preparing the monthly MPV and consumption reporting
• Performing other ad-hoc analysis as needed

Position Summary

As the Financial Analyst – US Engineering for Rolls-Royce, you will be a member of the Engineering Finance team and an integral part in providing support to Program Administrators, Control Account Managers, and the larger Engineering organization. You will be the control point for the program charge number tool and processes surrounding accurate labor reporting and will assist in the preparation of business reporting packs with financial results.
