Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Finance Analyst to support the US Structural Heart commercial teams, focusing on revenue allocations, productivity, and expense management. The role reports to the Finance Director of US Structural Heart Commercial and requires onsite presence in MN four days weekly, with about 10% travel.

Key responsibilities include forecasting, variance analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales and Finance teams to align territories and optimize performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 0+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Finance, Accounting, Pricing, Business, Marketing, or Economics.
  • On-site in MN 4 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure customers are aligned to the correct sales territories and partner with Sales Leaders on proposed organizational changes.
  • Own the internal warehouse revenue allocation process across field teams.
  • Lead forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting for US field expenses and partner with Sales Leaders on their results.
  • Build and maintain productivity models to evaluate historical performance and future scenarios.
  • Support annual planning and long-range planning through US metric modeling.
  • Cross-functional partnership with internal teams including Total Rewards, Sales Compensation, Patient Registration, and Finance Systems.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and scenario modeling for business partners and the operating unit.

Take on an impactful Finance Analyst role that directly impacts bringing life-saving products to our patients! This role provides key support to the US Structural Heart commercial teams. The Finance Analyst focuses on several areas that support the execution of our US P&L: alignments, revenue allocations, productivity, and expense management. This role sits within the broader Interventional Cardiology Therapies Finance team and reports to the Finance Director of US Structural Heart Commercial.

Responsibilities Include

Must Have: Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 0 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in Finance, Accounting, Pricing, Business, Marketing, or Economics
  • On-site in MN 4 days per week
Nice to Have
  • Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, Power Point, and Business objects
  • Demonstrated strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Ability to apply critical thinking
  • Positive attitude, with a high degree of initiative and accountability
  • Experience working with commercial sales leaders

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R.

Medtronic offers a competitive Salary and flexible Benefits Package

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$69,600.00 - $104,400.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
