Job summary

U.S. Bank in Minneapolis is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the PMI Sales organization and other key business lines. You will develop and analyze financial models, forecast performance, and deliver insights to drive strategic decisions.

This role partners with product, sales, and business teams to improve forecasting accuracy, reporting, and data-driven decision making, using PowerBI and Tableau to create executive-ready materials.

Job Description

The Financial Analyst will support PMI Sales organization and other key business line partners. This role is responsible for financial planning, forecasting, reporting, analysis, and decision support activities that help leaders evaluate performance and drive business results. The individual will serve as a finance partner to product, sales, and business line teams, providing insights and recommendations related to revenue performance, forecasting, business cases, and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Developing financial models, analyzing trends and variances
• Supporting monthly and annual planning processes
• Delivering ad hoc analyses to support management decision-making
• Supporting the implementation of Finance AI and automation initiatives
• Deploying AI-enabled data models, analytics solutions, and intelligent agents that improve forecasting, reporting, decision support, and overall finance productivity
• Partnering with finance, technology, and business teams to identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance data-driven decision-making
• Preparing executive-level presentations and materials for finance and business reviews
• Researching and resolving data quality issues within financial reporting systems
• Supporting the development and enhancement of financial applications, reporting tools, and analytical capabilities

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
• Typically three or more years of related experience

Preferred Skills / Experience

• PowerBI experience
• Tableau experience
• Working knowledge of financial analysis techniques and general accounting procedures
• Well-developed mathematical and analytical skills
• Thorough knowledge in financial analysis, forecasting, and planning
• Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
• Strong technical skills related to data mining and visualization tools

Location Expectations

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

Salary

Pay Range: $92,820.00 - $109,200.00
