Job summary

Lenmar Consulting Inc is seeking a Financial Reporting professional for our Investment Management team in Baltimore, MD. The role focuses on recurring financial reporting, close activities, and controls processes, with a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote).

You will prepare reporting packages, reconcile data, support journal entries and audits, maintain trackers and documentation, and coordinate with process owners to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field, or an associate's degree with equivalent relevant experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting.

Location: Baltimore, MD 21231 - Hybrid (3 days in office; 2 days remote)

Max Pay Rate: $27/hr W2 (No Benefits)

Duration - 12 months +

Role Description

This role provide an opportunity to work within our Investment Management (IM) Finance team, supporting recurring financial reporting, close activities, and controls processes.

Responsibilities include preparing reporting packages, compiling data and variance support, reconciling supporting schedules, and assembling documentation for journal entries and audit requests.

This individual will also maintain trackers and procedure documentation, follow up on outstanding actions, and coordinate materials to meet reporting and project deadlines.

The role will require ownership of assigned activities within established procedures, including working closely with process owners and reviewers, and promptly raising exceptions or unresolved issues.

Responsibilities may also extend to working with local and segment leadership to drive progress on various process transformation initiatives.

Success in this role requires keen attention to detail, sound analytical judgment, strong Excel skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities while producing accurate, timely work.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or an associate's degree with equivalent relevant experience. Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting.

• Strong analytical and technical skills, including proficiency in Excel and the ability to organize and reconcile financial data.
• Experience supporting financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, and control documentation.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate across stakeholders, manage deadlines, and raise issues promptly.
