Mindlance is seeking an experienced finance professional to join our cost operations team in Bellevue or Overland Park. You will establish standard costs, collect data, and determine financial status against plans and forecasts.

Responsibilities include enforcing cost policies, forecasting trends, reconciling transactions, maintaining databases, and guiding actions to management. Strong Excel, SQL, and accounting knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in cost/financial analysis or accounting.
• Proficient in Advanced Excel and SQL for data manipulation.
• Understanding of basic accounting and finance functions.

• Determines cost of operations by establishing standard costs and collecting data.
• Guides cost analysis with policies, procedures, trends, and forecasts.
• Reconciles transactions and maintains accurate data records.
• Recommends actions by interpreting data and conducting comparisons.

• Protects confidential financial information and enforces data security.

At least 5 years relevant experience required.

Determines cost of operations by establishing standard costs; collecting operational data. Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.

Guides cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions. Improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.

Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data. Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data.

Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials.

Increases productivity by developing automated accounting applications; coordinating information requirements.

Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.

Tech applications Required:

• Advanced Excel

• Understanding of and/or experience with basic Accounting and Finance Functions.
