Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. Working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges.
With your analytics and financial acuity, you'll liaise between the Finance team with the functional areas it supports. You resolve issues related to forecasting, planning, resource prioritization and business profitability, and you help translate analyses into easy-to-understand presentations.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on Google’s laptop operating system (ChromeOS/Android), one of Google’s key platforms. This is an integral part of an ecosystem through which many of our users experience Google including access to Search, Gemini, YouTube, Chrome Browser, and Workspace. You are a financial modeling expert who is equally comfortable writing SQL queries to extract insights from datasets and acting as a trusted business advisor to cross-functional leaders.
Your efforts will allow for data driven decision making for product investments, go-to-market strategies, marketing campaigns, and business optimizations. You will be partnering to help leadership understand return on investment (ROI) and financial performance to ensure we’re making smart decisions.
