Job summary

SBA Communications seeks a Financial Analyst II to manage accounting across regions and support budgets and forecasts while ensuring adherence to company policies and tax regulations.

Ideal candidates will have strong financial modeling skills and experience with P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis, plus 3+ years in finance roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/finance or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting or finance experience.
• Experience with financial modeling and KPI analysis.

Responsibilities

• Examine budgets and forecasts for accuracy by consolidating data and comparing to prior year.
• Create financial models to support forecasts and decisions.
• Understand P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements.
• Analyze KPI trends and provide analytical data to leadership.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial and accounting reports.
• Suggest month-end journal entries, reclassifications, adjustments and accruals.
• Support internal/external customers and improve communications.
• Ensure compliance with department procedures and controls.

Your Next Career Opportunity – Financial Analyst II

This position is responsible for managing all accounting aspects for the assigned regions and providing financial support to all levels of the company in analyzing the organization's finances. Assist with annual budget preparation and quarterly forecasts and ensure that all company policies, country laws, and tax regulations are being followed.

What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities

• Examine budgets and forecasts for accuracy and completeness by gathering, extracting, reviewing, verifying, and consolidating a variety of data and comparing prior year estimates and current operating reports.
• Proven experience with creating or building Financial Models.
• Thorough understanding of P&L Statements, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statements.
• Analyze current and past KPI trends, including revenue, COGS, SGandA, and Capital Expenditure, to provide leadership with analytical data and information.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial and accounting reports.
• Propose month-end journal entries, re-classes, adjustments and accruals.
• Provide customer service for both internal and external customers, strengthening relationships and improving communications.
• Ensure compliance with the department's internal procedures, policies and controls.

What You’ll Need – Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field of study; and at least 3 years of accounting or finance experience.
• MS Suite with a concentration of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
