Job summary

Ashton Woods is seeking a Finance/Accounting Analyst to provide management with financial information and proactive analysis. You will support monthly close, budgeting, and forecasting, and work with VP of Finance to deliver insightful business information for decision-making.

This role requires a Bachelor's in accounting or finance, at least one year of related experience, and strong Excel skills. Travel to project sites and corporate offices may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• At least 1 year of accounting/finance experience.
• Experience applying GAAP and cost accounting.
• Experience enforcing accounting controls.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare management reports for Corporate and Division.
• Support month-end close and forecasting processes.
• Review monthly financial statements and project proformas.
• Analyze budgets vs. actuals and implement corrective actions.
• Assist with payroll calculations for bonuses and commissions.
• Prepare sales margins and cost analyses for reports.
