Job summary

The United States Golf Association (USGA) seeks a Financial Analyst to support finance and accounting through reporting, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and systems administration. The role blends traditional accounting with FP&A, including month‑end close and model building, with potential growth into NSPB and NetSuite expertise.

Based in Liberty Corner, NJ, this hybrid position requires 3 in-office days per week with community days Tue‑Wed and options for the third day.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 1-3+ years of experience in accounting, FP&A, or a related analytical role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports, management summaries, and variance analyses for assigned departments.
• Analyze operating results and identify key drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop financial models and perform ad hoc analyses to support business decision‑making.
• Partner with department leaders to provide financial guidance and support operational initiatives.
• Assist with month‑end close activities, account analysis, reconciliations, and year‑end audit support.
• Develop expertise in NetSuite ERP and NSPB; support NSPB reporting and planning processes.
• Develop and enhance financial reports and analytical tools in Excel, NetSuite, and NSPB.
