Job summary

Omega Holdings, a private equity‑owned leading distributor of aftermarket automotive components, is seeking a Financial Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and business analysis across the organization. You will partner with leaders to provide insights and recommendations that drive strategic and operational decisions.

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, the role emphasizes accuracy, advanced Excel modeling, and clear communication.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or a related field.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience using financial models and large datasets.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Comfortable working in a consistently evolving environment; adaptable with good time management.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long‑range financial plans.
  • Perform variance analysis of actual results versus budget, forecast, and prior‑year performance.
  • Analyze financial statements, business performance, and key operating metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth and profitability improvement.
  • Support monthly management reporting and executive performance reviews.
  • Provide ad‑hoc analysis and reporting support to departments across the organization.

Job Summary

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, the Financial Analyst will support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and business analysis across the organization. This role will partner with business leaders to provide financial insights, performance reporting, and recommendations that support strategic and operational decision-making.

Duties/ Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long‑range financial plans.

  • Analyze financial statements, business performance, and key operating metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth and profitability improvement.

Required Skills/ Abilities
  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or a related field.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience using financial models and large datasets.

  • Comfortable working in a consistently evolving environment. Must be flexible, adaptable, and demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills/Abilities
  • Working knowledge of SQL and data extraction techniques preferred.
  • Distribution, Manufacturing, or retail industry experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement reporting preferred.
Education And Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related business discipline required.
  • Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling tools is a plus.
