Job summary

Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) is seeking an enthusiastic Financial Analyst/Business Analyst to drive program funding, planning, and reporting. You will support Air & Missile Defense Sector programs, work with sponsors, and help craft financial insights for decision making.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of cost analysis and proposal experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in financial cost analysis and proposal preparation, preferably in DoD contracting.
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently with strong interpersonal, problem-resolution, and analytical skills.
• Fluency with various financial reporting software applications and a willingness to learn new tools.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication with staff and sponsors.
• Eligibility for U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Manage and analyze program funding, task planning, and financial reporting requirements.
• Prepare responses for proposals for IDIQ contracts, grants, and industry solicitations.
• Provide leadership and support to the Programs Financial Services Section of the AB2 Group.
