Job summary

Plaid Inc. in San Francisco is seeking a hands-on FP&A professional to join our Corporate Finance team. You will drive planning, forecasting, and reporting that align with Plaid's strategic goals and scale with a fast-growing fintech platform.

You will build and maintain financial models, perform variance analysis, and partner with accounting and business teams to translate numbers into actionable insights. A passion for automation and systems like Pigment, Adaptive, and Anaplan is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years FP&A experience in Corporate Finance, G&A or similar.
• Own initiatives, strong initiative, and willingness to learn.
• Strong foundation in month-end close, reporting, variance analysis and forecasting.
• Experience building/maintaining financial models and understanding business drivers.
• Clear communication and collaborative approach with partners.

Plaid’s Corporate Finance team leads company-wide financial planning, forecasting, and reporting, delivering strategic insights to internal and external stakeholders. We align financial goals with business objectives to support informed decision‑making at the senior leadership and executive levels.

What excites us:

• 3+ years of relevant FP&A experience, ideally in Corporate Finance, G&A support, or a broader FP&A role.

• A solid foundation in core FP&A activities, including month‑end close, reporting, variance analysis, and forecasting, with exposure to annual planning and a working knowledge of accounting principles.

• Strong analytical skills and experience building or maintaining financial models. You care about accuracy and enjoy understanding the business drivers behind the numbers.

• Clear communication and a collaborative approach, with the ability to explain findings, ask thoughtful questions, and build relationships with business partners.

• Curiosity about AI, automation, and process improvements, with an interest in developing systems skills. Familiarity with Pigment, Adaptive, Anaplan, or similar FP&A tools is a plus.
