Our client, a large distribution company in the Metro Detroit area, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis and planning and experience working with Operations business partners.

Responsibilities include supporting month-end close and financial statement analysis, assisting with annual budgeting and rolling forecasts, working with Business Units to identify risks and opportunities, and monitoring production

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
• Strong analytical and storytelling with numbers.
• Proficient in Excel functions (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF).

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close and financial statement analysis for multiple business units.
• Assist in budgeting and monthly forecasts.
• Collaborate with Business Units to identify risks and opportunities.
• Track production spending and efficiency against plan.
