Abbott Laboratories in Columbus, OH, is seeking a Financial Analyst to own the full financial planning and analysis in support of the Ensure brand. You’ll collaborate with Marketing to develop monthly and annual sales and expense forecasts and convert them into a complete P&L for quarterly reviews.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance with at least 2 years of diversified finance experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in Excel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance
• Minimum 2+ years of applicable experience in diversified finance/accounting roles
• Analytical, problem solving and strong communication skills
• Critical thinking to identify business implications of financial results
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects and interact with multiple functions
• Excellent communication skills to interact within the organization
• Self-starter with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong PC/system skills, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency

Responsibilities

• Own full financial planning and analysis in support of the Ensure brand
• Collaborate with Marketing to build monthly/annual forecasts and full P&L
• Prepare schedules for Corporate submissions and forecast reviews
• Communicate forecast assumptions to Finance leadership and brand partners
• Report and analyze monthly close results and variances
• Provide financial support and insights on brand opportunities and assessments
• Assess reasonableness of financial assumptions, highlighting risks and opportunities
